If you ask Soldier Hard what has gotten him to where he is today, he’ll say “Determination & the will to carry on.” So it wasn’t a surprise, that his new full length CD is titled “Road to Recovery” shows just that. The Road to Recovery CD contains some of his Military themed songs determined to make his mark in the music world by speaking up for our troops, veterans, & military supporters.

 

A native Californian, Soldier Hard’s career began in Hip-Hop music performing in local bars & clubs in his hometown of Vallejo. He became inspired to write songs at the age of fourteen and at nineteen he enlisted in the United States Army where he found himself writing songs detailing the life of an Armed Forces Military Service Member. Soldier Hard’s belief in explaining to the world the “military life” led him to an opportunity to dedicate his music career to cater to military personnel, their families, and all military supporters.

 

In doing so, he was given the alias “The Voice for our Troops” by those same supporters.Influenced by Abraham Lincoln for his determination to never give up, Pat Tillman for his selfless service to our country & Bob Marley for his musical & writing skills, combine all three and you get Soldier Hard. In 2005-2006, Soldier Hard was deployed to Iraq as a Lead Vehicle Gun Truck Commander. On his free time he began writing & recording for his CD, “The Deployment.” In 2007, after returning to Ft Bliss, TX he released “The Deployment” CD.

 

“The Deployment is the most memorable CD project to this date. I was in Iraq and created a CD, not many people can say that they did the same. It’s amazing how I can put my heart and soul into a project, and actually hearing the music as time goes by, it brings me back to a time and place in my life I’d prefer to forget, but I know there are many troops out there that can relate to it, so I keep spreading our stories in respect for all our troops. They’re the most amazing people in this world.”

Soldier Hard is currently promoting his latest CD “Road to Recovery” and performing for Troops, Veterans, Military Families, & Military Supporters all across the United States. Recently he received proclamations from Mayor Buddy Dyr, Mayor of the city of Orlando, Florida and Mayor Anniese D. Parker, Mayor of the city of Houston Texas, for performing for Local Veterans, Military Personnel, and Military Families.
