From the foothills of North Carolina “Outlaw 21” artfully blends the musical genres of bluegrass, outlaw country, southern rock, and blues into their own special original style of music that displays sounds of traditional American musicians and songwriters.

Those American traditions go deeper than the music- Eric and Dale served in the US Army- and in 2004 Dale was severely injured during his deployment to Iraq. The band never even missed a beat- even when they discovered Dale would lose both of his legs below the knee and face a year of therapy before returning home. They rallied and were playing again in 6 months.

Since then the group has continued writing original music with blistering guitar solos, inspired vocals and a solid rhythm that rocks any crowd. Taking the name “Outlaw 21” from Dale’s Army unit and his personal “call sign” has inspired a dual meaning – Everybody is an “Outlaw to one”. All of us are Outlaws in our own minds…
